Abrasive Bench & pedestal grinding wheels are excellent for removing burrs on steel parts, as well as sharpening high speed cutting tools. Aluminum Oxide wheels are great for general purpose grinding on most steels/metals. GC Silicon Carbide wheels are for grinding hard, cemented carbide tooling and non-ferrous materials.
