Semi-synthetic machining and grinding fluids are synthetic-based coolants that typically contain some oil for added lubricity and corrosion protection. This makes them ideal for light-to-moderate machining and grinding applications. Semi-synthetic coolants also offer many of the same advantages as synthetics.

Ultracut 370R is a non-chlorinated heavy-duty semi synthetic coolant formulated to provide optimum performance for a wide range of ferrous and non- ferrous metals (including aluminum). The versatility of Ultracut 370R allows it to be used for both machining and grinding; shops can consolidate metalworking fluids to one universal coolant. Ultracut 370R provides a long sump life due to exceptional biostability and rust protection andcontains a special additive for use with brass, bronze, and copper.

A new biostable chlorinated semi-synthetic cutting fluid that offers very high lubricity and rust protection. The versatility of Rustlick® Ultracut 375R allows it to be used for both machining and grinding operation in any machine shop. Rustlick® Ultracut 375R has a unique blend of chlorinated and non-chlorinated EP additives to provide optimum performance for a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Rustlick® Ultracut 375R provides good corrosion protection, lubrication, and tolerance to contamination with exceptional biostability and longer sump life than soluble oil cutting fluids.
